Past Event Overview

SPIE/OSJ Biophotonics Japan explored photonics for diagnostics and treatment using interactions between light and biological systems, and the latest advances in biomedicine and advanced imaging.

We explored tissue optics and microscopy, spectroscopy of biological systems, nanobiophotonics, photodiagnostics, photonic devices and instrumentation for biophotonics, clinical applications, a range of imaging methodologies, as well as other relevant areas such as biotechnology, agriculture, and the environment. We encourage an interdisciplinary forum where leading biomedical and biophotonic researchers can share their latest work and learn from their colleagues in the related optics/photonics and instrumentation communities.
